The one leadership trusts to deliverand the team believes will get there.

For the past few years, I've worked at the intersection of strategy and relationships — building systems that scale without losing sight of people.

Before a recent departure into Operations, I spent nearly a decade in sales and leadership, influencing over $1B in real estate through the marketing and systems I built. Today, I combine that same blend of operational rigor and relational fluency: cultivating trust, inspiring investment, and creating experiences that deepen community commitment.

Above all, I'm focused on spreading barakah — through systems, sales, and scalable workflows.

"The most beloved deeds are those done consistently, even if they are small."— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

I've advised YC-backed startups, national nonprofits, and seed-stage teams — often in the same week.

I read everything: annual reports, psychology papers, grant proposals, seed decks. Pattern recognition is the job.

I get competitive in chess, but I only let myself play one month a year.

Experience

A decade of systems,
sales, and service.

I didn't set out to be an operations person. I set out to build things that outlast me. Turns out that requires the same three moves every time: design the workflow, train the team, make it repeatable. For-profit, nonprofit, doesn't matter. The method transfers.

Stories

We built systems so efficient, the sales team got laid off

The process we built at Villa was so efficient that it eventually resulted in the entire sales team — including myself — getting laid off. Rival ADU startups started reaching out to every member of our team on LinkedIn, and when they asked about the process, every single one of my teammates pointed in my direction. That overnight validation changed everything.

I realized that efficient systems and workflows could not only drive sales but fundamentally reshape how teams operated. What started as an internal process refinement became a sought-after methodology — and Scaled Enablement was formed to support startups, startup teams, nonprofits, and rising executives.

Four years in — and what comes next

With certain AI tools and agents, the accessibility of building boils down to how well you prompt agents and integrate them into workflows. It's the difference between prompting ChatGPT and having prepared drafts waiting for your review when you open your inbox in the morning.

But the primary value I add — especially to sub-Series B companies — won't be the integration of AI agents. It's being a founder's partner as they build their company: supporting their operations and doing the work that keeps the business moving.

Principles
"He just knows it's going to be ok. No matter what's happened, he just believes it'll be ok."

— Ehsan, a friend since preschool

That quiet certainty has a name: tawakkul — trusting in God's plan, doing your part fully, then letting go. It's not passivity. It's the freedom that comes from knowing the outcome isn't entirely mine to control. I tie my camel. Then I trust.

Values I live by
Gratitude

Genuine gratitude destroys negativity. There's a lot I could be negative about — but practicing daily gratitude lets me appreciate so much more around me. My entire life can change in an instant. I try never to take things for granted.

"Among the things you can give and still keep are your word, a smile, and a grateful heart."— Zig Ziglar
Authenticity

When I can be myself, I perform better. I don't waste energy pretending to be someone I'm not. That frees up creativity, deepens relationships, and lets the work speak clearly.

"Most people do the obvious thing. They don't want to look weird or different — but winning is weird and different. You're definitionally different because you stand apart from everyone else as the ultimate winner."— Amjad Masad, How to Keep Winning
Growth

I'm always trying to be the best version of myself — and that means different things at different times. The same simple framework applies whether I'm improving a skill like cooking or something abstract like patience: know where I am, define better, map the steps, commit daily time.

"If you sit back and spend too much time feeling good about what you did in the past, you're going to come up short next time."— Bill Belichick
Now

Currently

A live snapshot — what's occupying my attention, energy, and curiosity right now.

Running

Scaled Enablement full time — split between Sacramento, Fresno, and the Bay Area, embedded with nonprofits, startups, and small businesses on the work that actually moves things.

Building

Side projects on Replit. Each one starts with a real problem and a deadline I hold myself to — built to work, not to demo.

Reading

Systems thinking, Islamic economics, and whatever sharpens the mind without dulling the heart.

Learning

The art of writing well — deliberately, not decoratively.

Side Builds

Scaled Enablement,
in prototype form.

Every build here is an extension of Scaled Enablement's work — rapid prototypes built to test a real idea, pressure-test a workflow, or ship something that solves an actual problem. None of them are finished. All of them are in progress.

Every build starts with a real problem and a deadline I set for myself. The judgment about what's worth building — and what isn't — is the work. Velocity is a habit. Shipping is the discipline.

"There were maybe six or seven points where the honest assessment was 'this is a multi-week detour and probably not worth it.' In a world where I'm typing every character, most of those don't get built. They all got built. Not because the AI is magic, but because the cost of attempting something dropped far enough that ambitious detours stopped being irresponsible."
